Rooms Play was an immersive theatre experience presented by the copy cat theatre in March 2010. Modeled after the hero's journey, viewers traveled through 20 seperate rooms each containing a small performance or challenge. In my room, "Peppermint Dream", viewers entered an optical candy cane. The obvious exit in the room took participants through a dark tunnel and endless loop that lead them back to the entrance. Confused and tricked, the participants would take a pepperment candy from the plate I was offering, to reveal a note that instructed them to whisper in my ear. To whatever they whispered I would reply "between my legs". Viewers would then escape my peppermint trap by parting my skirt ruffle and crawling out between my legs. |
