Rebecca’s body performs repetitive movements, often without Rebecca’s awareness.  Rebecca’s most frequent comforting repetitive action is twirling the band on her ring finger on her left hand between the middle knuckle and the tip of her finger. 

The cloth band has a bump in it where it was sewn together.  Rebecca pushes the bump around her finger in a circular motion with her thumb and her pinky.  Sometimes this repetitive motion makes her hand sore.  However, it is difficult for Rebecca to keep herself from doing it.  Rebecca also scratches her head al lot.  Sometimes the scratch is to relieve an itch, as her head itches often due to the infrequency with when she washes her hair.  But more often the scratch is purposeless.
